Team Roster

Outside of frisbee, I’ve worked in the strength and conditioning field as a coach/trainer, and I’m currently attending a Physical Therapist Assistant program in Bellingham. I’ve competed at the elite level of frisbee for the past 11 years, most currently with Seattle Riot. I’ve also competed on many Worlds teams, earning 5 world championship gold medals. As a coach, I’ve been lucky to be involved with many high level high school programs, YCC, various developemental leagues and camps. My passions for developing athletes, competition and community are what drives me as a coach.

Defensive Line Handler
Outside of ultimate I like to bike, climb and get outdoors. I also like to do art and paly guitar.
“I freaking love playing ultimate. It attracts unique athletes and requires a different set of skills than other sports. I have almost always found the community to be welcoming and there’s a strong culture of giving back. Also it’s fun as hell”

defensive handler
guitar, art, fire spinning
“I play frisbee for the team dynamic. The community that it builds on and off the field is something that I have not been able to find in other sports. I leaned how to play frisbee from my teammates and now it is my turn to continue to teach what I have learned over the years.”

Cutter
Hiking, Skiing, Surfing
“I play frisbee for the community, being able to run hard and have competitive match ups against a bunch of your best friends. I love chasing things, it’s such a simple joy that makes me want to wag my tail.”

Primary Position: O-Line Handler
Outside of frisbee I enjoy music, art, and cooking
“I play frisbee because of its unique mix of intensity and camaraderie. I have played for 13 years and it fulfills me not just athletically but also with community on and off the field”

defensive cutter
Graphic design, snowboarding, coffee tasting
“I’ve always valued being a teammate. That’s why I don’t mind the turf burns.”

Senior
Defensive Cutter

“I play frisbee to have fun. I enjoy running around the field and catching and throwing the disc with my friends. I enjoy the competition and the energy my teammates bring to the game.”

Outside of frisbee, I enjoy collecting and listening to CDs, volunteering for WWUs radio station KUGS, and going on roadtrips

“I play ultimate for the atmosphere. I’ve never found another sport that seamlessly combines friendship and fierce competition. Plus the highlight reels are pretty cool”

Offensive Cutter
In my spare time I play the trumpet and study computer science. I love spending time out in the forests and mountains here in the Pacific Northwest.
“I play ultimate because it’s super fun. But mainly I play because of all the wonderful people I’ve met through it”

Defensive Cutter
Activities outside of Frisbee: Rock Climbing, Woodworking, Skiing, Shredding on the Ukulele.
“I play frisbee for the personal challenge and the team dynamic. I love going out on the field and feeling like I have left everything out there and that I have nothing left to give. When the whole team plays this way and we are just clicking, there’s nowhere else I’d rather be.”

Handler
Outside of frisbee I enjoy hooping time to time and playing some video games with friends
“I play frisbee because out of all the sports I’ve played when I was younger I was mostly a pass first before scoring kinda guy and this mind set carried on until I found frisbee. I like that ultimate is simple in a way but can also be complicated too.”

Defensive oriented cutter/handler hybrid
I play video games, look at and sometimes make art, think about frisbee
“I play frisbee because it is the most fun thing that I have found. The culture is great, the standards that people hold each other too in terms of rules and intensity is perfect for me, and the satisfaction of doing something right is one of the best feelings.”

Offensive hybrid
The Outdoors and playing the trumpet
“I play ultimate because I grew up around ultimate players. It is by far the most fun sport I’ve ever participated in, from the on the field play to the off the field dynamics”

I like to bike, play games with my bros and I love calling my mom on the weekends.
“I play ultimate because it’s fun to run and ball out, and even better doing it with friends. Ultimate has given me the opportunity to be a part of a diverse community and a reason to work hard every day.”

O-Line Handler
I love skiing, mountain biking, and winning intramural championships.
“I play frisbee because I love hanging out and hucking some freshies with my boys. I get so much satisfaction from just putting up a flick huck and watching my teammates absolutely obliterate their defences and come down with the disc. The people I play with make every practice something to!”
