Team Roster

Kelly Johnson, Head Coach
Outside of frisbee, I’ve worked in the strength and conditioning field as a coach/trainer, and I’m currently attending a Physical Therapist Assistant program in Bellingham. I’ve competed at the elite level of frisbee for the past 11 years, most currently with Seattle Riot. I’ve also competed on many Worlds teams, earning 5 world championship gold medals. As a coach, I’ve been lucky to be involved with many high level high school programs, YCC, various developemental leagues and camps. My passions for developing athletes, competition and community are what drives me as a coach.
Liam Bateman, Senior, Captain
Defensive Line Handler
Outside of ultimate I like to bike, climb and get outdoors. I also like to do art and paly guitar.
“I freaking love playing ultimate. It attracts unique athletes and requires a different set of skills than other sports. I have almost always found the community to be welcoming and there’s a strong culture of giving back. Also it’s fun as hell”
Ryan Schluter, Senior
defensive handler
guitar, art, fire spinning
“I play frisbee for the team dynamic. The community that it builds on and off the field is something that I have not been able to find in other sports. I leaned how to play frisbee from my teammates and now it is my turn to continue to teach what I have learned over the years.”
Ian Browning, Senior
Cutter
Hiking, Skiing, Surfing
“I play frisbee for the community, being able to run hard and have competitive match ups against a bunch of your best friends. I love chasing things, it’s such a simple joy that makes me want to wag my tail.”
Logan Chantelois, Senior, #5
Primary Position: O-Line Handler

Outside of frisbee I enjoy hooping time to time and playing some video games with friends
“I play frisbee because out of all the sports I’ve played when I was younger I was mostly a pass first before scoring kinda guy and this mind set carried on until I found frisbee. I like that ultimate is simple in a way but can also be complicated too.”

I play video games, look at and sometimes make art, think about frisbee
